Restoration Technician-FT This role is an engaging hands‑on opportunity for individuals passionate about ecological restoration and land stewardship. As a Restoration Technician, you'll work directly under experienced Restoration Crew Leaders to enhance the health of District lands through diverse, immersive field projects. Responsibilities range from brush and invasive plant management, operating machinery like chainsaws and tractors, and conducting prescribed burns to collecting important biological data such as tree surveys and wildlife monitoring. The position also offers mentorship opportunities, helping seasonals, interns, and volunteers develop practical skills in ecological operations. Ideal for those who enjoy dynamic outdoor work, teamwork, and contributing directly to environmental conservation efforts. This is a full‑time, non‑exempt position with an hourly range of $25.59 to $33.58, with a hiring rate of $25.59 per hour, plus eligibility for the District's full‑time benefits package.
