About the Role As the RN/LPN , you will play a pivotal role in shaping the operational excellence and strategic direction of Meridian. You will: Performs initial physical assessments and performs ongoing re-assessment. Assesses and collects data to determine client stability, safety, and pain status on admission. Integrates assessment findings with previously reported or documented information to determine changes in the client's status. Recognizes interrelationships between assessment findings, medications, and lab findings. Initiates Treatment Plan and Nursing Care Plan. Incorporates the client, family/significant other, developmental and age-appropriate needs. Initiates, verifies, and carries out physician orders transcribing to the Medication Administration Record as appropriate. Assumes leadership role in crisis or emergency situations. Identifies unexpected responses to treatment or other alterations in client condition that requires treatment and communicates with appropriate physician. Works with Nurse Manager and HR Staffing to provide appropriate staffing based on census and acuity. What We're Looking For Clear and active license to practice as an RN/LPN in the State of Florida. Experience in an inpatient psychiatric unit preferred. ** Must be able to type at least 27 wpm on prescreen assessment and score at least 65% on general assessment. Drivers Requirement Must have a current Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record while meeting company insurance requirements. In order to qualify as a Center Driver, the candidate must have an active Florida Driver's license. Motor Vehicle Record will be reviewed for eligibility. No more than 3 moving violations and/or accidents within the past 3 years and no major violations during the past 5 years.
