Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client, including crisis prevention plans and behavioral guidelines. Maintain accurate and timely documentation to exceed regulatory standards, utilizing our electronic health record system to facilitate effective communication. Employ evidence-based screening tools and therapeutic practices, applying the latest methodologies in mental health treatment. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create and implement positive behavior support strategies tailored to client needs. Participate actively in accreditation and licensing processes, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines. Engage as a liaison with state agencies, local organizations, and community partners, enhancing resource availability for our clients. Foster effective communication within the team and with clients to uphold the agency mission while promoting client wellness. Identify potential partnerships and funding opportunities by establishing relationships with various organizations and agencies. Seek continuous professional development through attending relevant conferences and workshops, enhancing your expertise and contributions to the agency. Represent the agency in community outreach efforts, promoting our mission and mental health awareness. Patient Population / Client Focus The clients you will serve come from diverse backgrounds and experiences, often facing unique challenges that require a nuanced understanding of mental health. Our programming is designed to cater to individuals dealing with emotional health concerns, substance use issues, developmental disabilities, and more. You will play a pivotal role in guiding these individuals towards recovery and improved quality of life through personalized care plans. Qualifications A Master's Degree in a behavioral health field is required. An independent LMHC license issued by the state board is mandatory. Demonstrated ability to maintain clinical records and prepare necessary reports efficiently. Experience working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team, with a strong emphasis on effective communication. Exhibit sound judgment and the ability to make independent decisions grounded in professional knowledge. Preferred Experience Experience with various therapeutic modalities and client populations, particularly in a community health setting. Prior work with crisis intervention and behavioral support plans is advantageous. Familiarity with electronic health record systems. Compensation and Benefits The compensation for the Licensed Mental Health Counselor position ranges from USD 80,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
