You will set up, gage, and run production on castings using CNC lathes or mills, including full tooling and fixturing setup, precision measurement, and machining operations to maintain tight tolerances. Candidates with limited experience, but strong mechanical aptitude and the right attitude are encouraged to apply!You will:Handle full CNC setups to include tooling, work holding, fixturing and loading programsUtilize CNC equipment, manual machines, overhead hoists, hand tools/power tools/air tools and fractometerKnow how to use precision measuring gages to include calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, gauge blocks etc. to check dimensionsRead blueprints and understand GD&TMake offsets and minor edits to keep parts in toleranceMaintain proper coolant ratios and levels and perform autonomous maintenance tasksPerform operations necessary to face, turn, bore, chamfer, grove, thread, drill, tap, and deburr a variety of materials and partsKey Qualifications:3+ years of CNC Mill and Lathe setup and operation experience, preferred but not requiredMust have GD&T and print comprehension and understand shop mathMust be able to multi-task to keep production running smoothlyPhysical Requirements: Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 50lbs.Position hours/shifts (Overtime Available!):2nd shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm Monday - Friday8% shift differential for 2nd shiftCompensation:The hourly pay for this role is: $28 to $30/hr. DOE. (8% shift differential for 2nd shift). Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Determination of pay rate may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.**HIRING BONUS**$1000 Hiring Bonus - The hiring bonus is payable at $500 after 90 days and $500 after 6 months of employment.
