Our Maternal Child Services team is responsible for the 36 bed Labor and Delivery, Mother/Baby, and High Risk Antepartum areas, 7 bed triage, and 2 Operating Rooms. We are also designated a Baby Friendly Institution. We invite you to listen to a message from our CNO who shares what it's like to be part of Team HMH at Jersey Shore University Medical Center: Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license is required BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association is required within 60 days of hire Must have a minimum of 6 months of nursing experience or be an active participant in the Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency program Maternal child services experience in a hospital setting including labor and delivery, postpartum, antepartum, and well-baby nursery is preferred ACLS preferred, must obtain within 6 months NRP preferred, must obtain within 6 months Inpatient Obstetrics and/or External Fetal Monitoring Certification is a plus BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs, a strong sense of accountability for improving the lives of our patients and their caregivers, an exceptional focus on teamwork, dedication to ongoing education and the ability and passion to deliver the highest quality of care based on a strong sense of patient focus are all required. #J-18808-Ljbffr Hackensack Meridian Health Inc.
