Substance Abuse Counselor

To provide essential support to clients, the full-time North Carolina Licensed Substance Use Counselor will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and facilitate group therapy sessions in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for clients seeking substance use treatment Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and progress Facilitate group therapy sessions to promote recovery and support among clients Required qualifications Valid North Carolina Licensed Substance Use Counselor certification Experience in substance use counseling or related fields Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities for substance use disorders Ability to work independently in a remote setting Strong organizational and documentation skills
