Are you passionate about modernizing business analysis and data‑driven delivery? Join our Americas Tax Technology Group (ATTG) as a Business Analyst Manager – Spec Authoring & AI Tooling and be at the forefront of AI-powered delivery innovation!

As part of the Americas Tax Technology Group (ATTG), you will join a Core delivery team building innovative, scalable solutions for client‑serving Tax professionals.

This role blends strategic business analysis leadership with hands‑on, AI‑enabled delivery across product, data, and analytics initiatives. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Data, and QA teams to translate complex tax and business needs into clear specifications, governed data solutions, and high‑quality outcomes—leveraging AI and modern data platforms while retaining strong human oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Business Technology, Product, and Architecture leaders to define and deliver long-term business and technology strategies.
• Define how AI agents are embedded into end‑to‑end business workflows, ensuring clarity of intent, decision boundaries, escalation paths, and human oversight.
• Drive early intake clarity, reusable specifications, and efficient downstream delivery.
• Shape product roadmaps and features by clarifying business intent and aligning priorities.
• Leverage AI‑assisted analysis tools, including GitHub Copilot, to accelerate requirements gathering, impact analysis, and validation, applying sound judgment and human oversight to AI‑generated outputs.
• Lead rapid prototyping and early validation to minimize delivery risks.
• Collaborate with QA Engineers to ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality, including AI-assisted test generation.
• Champion modern, AI-assisted BA practices within the Business Analysis Community of Practice.
• Plan and manage the business analysis approach across the ATTG project lifecycle, ensuring timely, high‑quality delivery of requirements, specifications, and data‑related artifacts that reduce rework and accelerate downstream delivery.
• Author, review, and govern clear, build‑ready business and data specifications that support application development, analytics, and reporting use cases.
• Ensure AI‑enabled and agent‑based solutions align with data governance and data quality practices, including metadata management, lineage, access controls, and compliance.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Strong ability to articulate complex business and data problems to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills in modern delivery environments.
• Hands‑on experience using GitHub Copilot in VS Code and other AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, Codex) within modern product and engineering environments.
• Strong skills in stakeholder communication, problem framing, and solution articulation.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in complex environments.
• Working knowledge of AI agents, AI evaluation frameworks, and best practices for monitoring, assessing, and governing AI‑enabled solutions in production.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years supporting data ingestion and analytics solutions.
• Approved technical certification is required
• Prior management or delivery leadership experience preferred.
• CBAP or CBATL certification is a plus.
• Tax or Finance domain knowledge is advantageous

Ideally, you’ll have

• Excellent organizational and project management skills as well as the ability to multitask on various projects in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work and team effectively with clients and high-level leadership personnel as well as influence all team members.

• We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $86,600 to $197,800. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $103,900 to $224,700. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
• Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
