Job TitleLicensed Professional Mental Health CounselorDutiesFunctions or scopes of assigned duties include:Performing a comprehensive intake assessment and substance use disorder evaluation that satisfy Joint Commission standards and providing clinically meaningful information related to the specific cognitive-social learning treatment approach used in the Behavioral Health Clinic.Providing individual, group, and family psychotherapy, as well as crisis intervention. When providing treatment, incumbent relies on their own clinical judgment to address patient problems in a fashion that is consistent with the knowledge and skills of other professional staff with Master's level training.The case management responsibilities of the Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor do not differ from other Behavioral Health Clinic staff (i.e., Psychologist, Social Worker, or Nurse). If a patient is engaged in therapy with the counselor, then LPMHC may be designated as the Mental Health Treatment Coordinator (MHTC).Work Schedule: 8:00am - 4:30pm. Monday - Friday.
