Java Full Stack Engineer (Senior)

Job Title: Java Full Stack Engineer (Senior)
Location: Richmond, VA or Atlanta, GA (Onsite/Hybrid)
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Engineer with 7+ years of experience developing enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Angular/React, and database technologies, along with the ability to work independently in an Agile environment.
Required Skills
- Java 8/11/17+
- Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security
- Microservices Architecture and REST APIs
- Angular (preferred) or React
- TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
- MongoDB and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL)
- Git and Agile/Scrum experience
- Strong technical leadership and problem-solving skills
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Devin, Windsurf) is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- AWS or Azure
- Docker, Kubernetes
- RabbitMQ or Kafka
- CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, Cypress)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications.
- Build scalable microservices and REST APIs.
- Develop modern UI components using Angular or React.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and code reviews.
- Support production deployments and issue resolution.
