Social Media Manager

About the Role We are looking for a Social Media Manager with proven experience distributing, amplifying, and maximizing the reach of press releases across social platforms. This role is responsible for ensuring company announcements—press releases, partnerships, launches, and media coverage—gain visibility, traction, and engagement with the right audiences. This position works closely with leadership, PR, and communications teams to turn official announcements into coordinated, high-impact social campaigns. Key Responsibilities Distribute and promote press releases across all social media channels (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, etc.) Create platform-specific messaging and visuals aligned with each press announcement Coordinate timing of social posts with press release embargoes and official distribution Amplify earned media coverage by resharing articles, interviews, and mentions Monitor engagement, reach, and sentiment around press announcements Manage social media calendars around company news and announcements Collaborate with PR, communications, and executive teams on messaging Ensure consistent brand voice across all press-related social content Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a Social Media Manager or Digital Communications Manager Direct experience distributing and promoting press releases or corporate announcements Strong understanding of LinkedIn, X, and professional social platforms Excellent copywriting skills tailored to corporate and media audiences Experience coordinating social posts with PR and communications timelinesStrong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information Preferred Experience supporting PR or corporate communications teams Familiarity with media monitoring and analytics tools Experience working with executives or high-visibility brands What You’ll Own Social distribution strategy for all press releases Press announcement calendars and rollout plans Amplification of earned media coverage Social performance reporting for press initiatives Marketing co-sponsored public events TQG operates on the principles of integrity and trust.
