Registered Nurse (RN) - MedSurg Float

Role Overview: Provides patient-centered nursing care by performing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation based on evidence-based practices. Ensures individualized care through effective partnerships, cultural competence, and adherence to clinical standards. Key Responsibilities Coordinate safe, quality care and documentation within a collaborative team environment. Utilize interdisciplinary communication methods to promote respectful, inclusive care. Support performance improvement initiatives, research, and shared governance activities. Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster a qualified, professional nursing workforce. Promote evidence-based practice, participate in clinical research, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and safety standards. Plan proactively for patient care across the continuum, developing protocols to optimize outcomes. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. Current RN license (single or multi-state), BLS certification, and instructor/provisional BLS as required. Knowledge of nursing theory, regulations, assessment, treatment techniques, and documentation. Strong communication, judgment, and emergency response skills.
