Aspire for Well-Being Hospice at The Highlands at Wyomissing

Hospice volunteers change lives of many people that Aspire for Well-Being Hospice serves. Whether through a kind word, a listening ear, or a helping hand, their presence brings comfort during life's most tender journeys. Our volunteers find their role fulfilling and rewarding by giving of their time to support others. Whether it is lite conversation, playing cards, reading a book or magazine or listening to music, becoming a hospice volunteer for Aspire for Well-Being Hospice at the Highlands, volunteers can create a rewarding experience for themselves and the hospice patients they serve.

Prior to volunteering with Aspire for Well Being Hospice, these tasks must be met; Consent to a PA Criminal History Record Check Consent to a Child Abuse Clearance. Receive or provide proof of most current flu shot. Receive or provide proof of the most current COVID vaccine. Completion of an application and training will be provided to all volunteers prior to paring with a patient. Aspire for Well-Being Hospice is dedicated to providing patients and families with qualify care and comfort while upholding dignity at end-of-life.
