Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough initial assessments for new clients, gathering information to tailor individualized treatment plans that address their specific mental health concerns. \n
- Facilitate weekly one-on-one therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to assist clients in managing issues like anxiety, depression, and trauma. \n
- Collaborate with nutritionists, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive support and ensure continuity of care for clients. \n
- Engage in ongoing professional development through training and workshops to enhance your skill set and stay updated with the latest mental health practices. \n
- Participate in team meetings to contribute ideas for program development and improvement initiatives that enhance client care experience. \n
- Provide crisis intervention to clients in distress, ensuring their immediate safety while stabilizing their mental health. \n
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring privacy and trust. \n
Our clients include individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds, each facing unique challenges. You will support clients dealing with a variety of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, relationship difficulties, and adjustment challenges. This diverse clientele allows for a rich and varied therapeutic experience, enhancing your clinical proficiency over time.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a closely related field from an accredited institution is required. \n
- Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California. \n
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish meaningful rapport with clients from various cultural backgrounds. \n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for documentation and collaboration with team members. \n

- A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience with individuals addressing mental health challenges is preferred, although exceptional candidates without this experience will be considered. \n
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus, as this will streamline your documentation process and client management. \n
- A commitment to cultural competence in delivering inclusive mental health care that respects and affirms diverse identities is vital. \n
We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 yearly , commensurate with experience. In addition to salary, full-time counselors become eligible for a monthly healthcare stipend to support their wellbeing. You will also have free access to our services as a client while remaining an active counselor within the organization, demonstrating our commitment to mental health for our staff.
