TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVOR RN in Indianapolis, Indiana, 46202!

Job Title: Pediatric CVOR RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Pediatric CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 15:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: In-state license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Basic instruments experience Laparoscopic instruments experience Sternal saws experience Midas drills experience Basic power equipment experience Description: Position is for a Pediatric CVOR RN. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. First-time travelers are accepted. Basic Life Support certification is required. Local candidates are accepted. Pending licenses are not accepted. In-state license and required certifications must be in hand to submit. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Guaranteed hours are available with 8-hour and 10-hour shifts totaling 40 hours in one workweek. Three 12-hour shifts will provide 36 hours in one workweek. Four 12-hour shifts will provide 48 hours in one workweek. Preferred skills include case cart management, scrubbing, crash cart operation, Fontan procedures, VAD experience, and arterial switch procedures. Pediatric cardiac experience and trauma experience would be beneficial. Required skills include knowledge of basic instruments, laparoscopic instruments, sternal saws, Midas drills, and basic power equipment. Preferred skills also include experience with DaVinci and Censitrac systems. Travelers should be aware that they will need to take CVOR call. The primary focus will be on CVOR, but if CV cases are not available, travelers will be expected to assist in the main operating room. Candidates must be willing to float within the facility if required.
