Bar & grill on Chicago's Northside is seeking a kitchen manager. Pay range is $55-$60k per year.
Responsibilities will include:
- Food prep and working the line.
- Inventory and ordering
- Managing food and labor costs
- Scheduling
- Maintaining the high standard of food safety and cleanliness
- Managing and motivating kitchen staff
Requirements:
Hold all necessary City of Chicago health certificate requirements (ServSafe manager, Allergen, and Healthy Chicago certificates)
Work weekends
Lift 50 pounds
1-2 years management experience
Our ideal candidate will be:
Bilingual in English and Spanish
familiar with southwest/mexican flavors
Proficient with Toast software
