A sign fabricator builds, assembles, and finishes custom interior and exterior signage. Daily duties involve reading blueprints, operating shop tools like CNC routers and welders, wiring electrical or LED components, and working with materials such as metal, acrylic, wood, and vinyl.

Job Summary

• Role Type: Full-time, on-site manufacturing/trades position.
• Core Goal: Transform design concepts and architectural blueprints into durable, precise physical signs.
• Working Environment: Manufacturing shop or warehouse setting with power equipment, requiring adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Cut, shape, weld, and assemble metals, plastics, wood, and composite materials.
• Operate shop equipment including saws, shears, routers, and hand tools safely.
• Install electrical components, power packs, LEDs, or channel letter wiring when required.
• Apply vinyl graphics, digital prints, paints, or protective laminates.
• Inspect finished products for quality, size accuracy, and durability.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience working with hand/power tools and heavy shop machinery.
• Basic math and measuring skills to interpret precise dimensions.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
• Certifications or background in welding, electrical wiring, or graphic arts preferred.
