The role involves creating delicious and nutritious dishes while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. The Cook will contribute to the overall dining experience by ensuring food safety standards and delivering exceptional culinary services. Position Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to the menu and dietary requirements. Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and presented attractively. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and food preparation areas. Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient and smooth kitchen operations. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal and fresh ingredients. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed. Provide guidance and training to junior kitchen staff when required. Handle special requests and dietary restrictions with professionalism and care. Continuously seek ways to improve food quality and service. Qualifications Required Education High school diploma or equivalent. Culinary school certification or degree preferred. CPR Certification Required Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a cook in a professional kitchen setting. Proven track record of preparing high-quality meals in a timely manner. Experience with menu planning and food inventory management. Required Skills and Abilities Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent culinary skills with proficiency in various cooking techniques. Ability to follow recipes accurately and adapt them as necessary. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and management.
