Instrumentation & Controls Technician

Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite Contract: 12+ Months Overtime: Required as needed Travel: Required within Michigan’s Lower Peninsula Job Responsibilities: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, instrumentation, and control systems. Calibrate and configure instruments and electronic devices. Maintain and troubleshoot RTU/SCADA systems, gas chromatographs, flow computers, meters, compressors, valves, motors, and controllers. Support commissioning, equipment testing, inspections, and system upgrades. Read electrical drawings, P&IDs, schematics, and technical manuals. Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow industrial safety procedures. Coordinate with engineers, operations teams, vendors, and contractors. Required Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, instrumentation, and control systems. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics. Knowledge of industrial safety practices. Preferred Skills: Gas regulation and transmission systems. Valve and actuator repair. Compressed air systems and mechanical maintenance. Industrial boilers and heaters. Electrical licensing and Microsoft Office. Operator Qualifications: Must meet all applicable Consumers Energy OQ requirements and maintain required certifications throughout the contract. #J-18808-Ljbffr
