Senior Data Engineer
$50 - $55 per hourLABUR
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in SQL Development, Python scripting, and financial systems to support and optimize data workflows for Cash Accounting journal entries. To build SQL-based ETL processes, automate business workflows using Python, and facilitate migration efforts to cloud systems. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset to work closely with finance stakeholders.
Base pay range
$50.00/hr - $55.00/hr
W2 Contract Only
Must-Have Skills
- 5 years of hands-on SQL development (stored procedures, query optimization, ETL).
- Proficiency in Python for scripting and process automation.
- Experience with version control tools (e.g., GitHub/Git).
- Familiarity with financial systems (e.g., Oracle/SAP ERP) and basic accounting principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting data workflows.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
Needed
