Radiologic Technologist

Schedule

Requirements
- Valid CA license (must be in hand)
- Fluoroscopy certification
- BLS certification
- ARRT (R) certification
- 1 year of community hospital experience required
- Charting experience in Epic required
- Core clinical skills: general radiography (chest, abdomen, extremities, spine), fluoroscopy and contrast studies (UGI, barium studies, contrast administration), portable imaging, trauma, ICU/PACU/ED imaging, pediatrics/NICU/PICU imaging experience, PACS experience, and starting peripheral IVs

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform general radiography and fluoroscopic procedures as ordered by the healthcare team.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in the EMR (Epic).
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.
- Adhere to radiation safety and infection control protocols.

Compliance / Notes
- Must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).
- On-call and float requirements within the hospital and nearby affiliate facilities.
- Local candidates accepted; must include RTO with submission.
- Two references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years.
- Free parking provided; assigned parking during orientation.
