Key Responsibilities\n

  • You will engage with couples within therapeutic settings, facilitating discussions and reflections that strengthen their relationship dynamics.

  • Conduct individual therapy sessions with each partner to address personal issues that impact their relationship.
  • \n
  • Specialize in family-oriented therapy, addressing specific concerns such as alcohol abuse, physical or psychological abuse, grief and loss, and sibling conflicts.
  • \n
  • Assist families during times of transition, such as separation, divorce, or blending families, ensuring a supportive environment for each family member.
  • \n
  • Utilize effective communication strategies to tackle common issues, including job stress, medical challenges, and conflicts among family members.
  • \n
Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on couples and families dealing with a variety of psychological and emotional challenges, including but not limited to: grief and loss, adjustment to life transitions, and communication difficulties. The populations served include adults and adolescents, ensuring diverse experiences and interactions that contribute to professional growth.

  • Must be a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with an active state license.
  • \n
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field is required.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Experience working with both adults and children in clinical settings.

  • Proficiency in teletherapy practices and methodologies.
  • \n
  • A minimum of two years working in a similar role is preferred, but newly licensed candidates are also encouraged to apply.
