My Gym Children's Fitness Center is hiring enthusiastic and active individuals to teach part-time (~20 hours/week) or full-time (~30+ hours/week). Perfect for under-graduates, recent graduates, performers, athletes, or anyone who would love working with young children in an active and encouraging environment.

About the Job!
You will co-teach age-appropriate gym classes to toddlers, preschoolers, and early grade school kids. Along with a another teacher, you’ll lead classes filled with fun activities like:

• Songs, dances, and games
• Relays, conditioning skills, and obstacle courses
• Basic gymnastics - including tumbling, bars, and balance beam
• Warm-ups, yoga, and team building activities

About Us!

• Our owner: Dave Ames got his Masters in teaching from Tuft University and is a former high school science teacher and college athlete. Dave has successfully run My Gyms on the South Shore since 2008!
• College & Graduate Students - Many of our teachers are getting their undergraduate and graduate degrees. We've had countless students work for us that eventually become elementary school teachers, occupational or physical therapists, nurses, etc.  
• Recent College Graduates - Many of our teachers joined My Gym because after graduating they wanted a job where they could be active with kids and make a difference in their lives. Some of our recent graduates also teach dance or have another part-time job.
• Career Changers - Some of our teachers joined My Gym to escape desk jobs, daycare jobs, nannying jobs, sales jobs, etc. They chose My Gym for the following reasons: Flexible work schedule; desire to be active at work; work with likeminded people; develop teaching and entertaining skills; have a job that truly benefits kids and families.
• High School Graduates - A few of our teachers have high school degrees and are still considering college. Our training program let's you develop teaching and customer service skills in a job environment that is active, social and very fun! 
• About the Franchise: We have two locations (Norwell and Braintree) , but we’re part of a global franchise with 180+ locations in the US and hundreds more around the world. Several of our teachers have moved to other parts of the country and continued working for other My Gyms after their move.
