Job DescriptionThe Banquet Server is responsible for providing prompt, courteous, and efficient food and beverage service to guests during banquet functions in accordance with Fairmont Copley Plaza standards.
QualificationsEDUCATION
- High school diploma and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT

- four wheel cart

- trays
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Long hours sometimes may be required.
- Medium work - Exerting up to 20-50pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
- Must work well in stressful, high pressure situations.
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by coworkers and guests.
The hourly base pay rate is USD $12.25 plus a share of banquet gratuities; total earnings vary based on the number and size of events worked.
