Role Summary
The Junior Records Management Specialist supports IRMD’s records management
operations by maintaining records, ensuring compliance with retention schedules,
assisting with audits, and supporting documentation control. The role helps manage
electronic and physical records repositories and supports senior records personnel.

Roles & Responsibilities
• Maintain electronic and physical records repositories
• Support compliance with federal records retention schedules
• Assist with records audits and documentation control
• Track, store, and retrieve records as required
• Support senior records personnel with program tasks
• Maintain organized and accurate records inventories

Professional Experience
• Experience with records management or administrative recordkeeping
• Understanding of federal records retention and documentation standards
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Educational Qualifications
• High school diploma required; associate’s degree preferred
• Training in records management or information governance beneficia
