This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM with alternating weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Med Surg RN to provide high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering medications, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring that all patients receive appropriate care throughout their hospital stay.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assess patients' conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and document patients' progress and response to treatments.
• Educate patients and their families about disease processes and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS certification required.
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred.
• Permanent address must be 50+ miles from the facility.
