Machine Operator
Location: Ypsilanti, MI   Shift: 1st Shift   Pay: Up to $19.00 per hour

Job Summary

We're seeking a dependable and detail-oriented  Machine Operator to join our team in Ypsilanti, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of the production process by ensuring equipment is operating efficiently, maintaining quality standards, and supporting daily production goals.

What You'll Be Doing

As a  Machine Operator , your core responsibilities will include:

Machine Operation: Monitor equipment throughout the production process, maintain proper machine settings, and ensure machines are running efficiently and safely.

Quality Control: Perform all required checks according to control plans and line diagrams to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.

Production Reporting: Complete production reports accurately, document quality checks, and maintain production records throughout the shift.

In addition, you will perform pre-start inspections, work with chemical additions as required, assist with material handling, and support other production activities as assigned.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

Qualifications:

• Previous machine operator experience is required.
• Previous experience working with chemicals in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Skills:

• Attention to Detail: Ability to perform quality inspections and maintain production standards.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Comfortable monitoring equipment and adjusting machine settings as needed.
• Safety Awareness: Understanding of manufacturing safety procedures and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Documentation Skills: Ability to accurately complete production reports and quality documentation.
• Reliability: Strong attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
