Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00).

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Labor and Delivery nursing, particularly within large hospital settings, and will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of patients during labor and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and support to laboring mothers and newborns.
• Assist with high-risk deliveries, including Cesarean sections and vaginal deliveries.
• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs and report any abnormalities.
• Perform sterile techniques and maintain cleanliness in the delivery area.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience is required.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate; AWHONN Advanced preferred.
• Experience in circulating during surgical procedures within Labor and Delivery.
