Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Travel MRI Technologist to join a high-performing Radiology team for a 13-week travel assignment . This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled MRI professional who is passionate about providing high-quality diagnostic imaging while maintaining exceptional patient safety and comfort.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on MRI experience, strong technical skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.

• Verify patient information, clinical history, and examination orders.

• Screen patients for MRI safety risks, contraindications, and implanted devices.

• Prepare patients for procedures and explain the examination process.

• Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.

• Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently.

• Monitor patients throughout examinations and respond appropriately to any concerns.

• Maintain strict adherence to MRI safety protocols and infection-control standards.

• Recognize and report imaging or equipment concerns appropriately.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the HMS EMR system .

• Collaborate with radiologists and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

• Provide compassionate care and maintain patient dignity throughout every examination.

Schedule & Assignment Details

• 13-week contract

• 36 hours per week

• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• Monday, Tuesday & Thursday

• No call

• No 48-hour option

• No block scheduling

• No floating

✅ Requirements

• ARRT certification – Required

• TMB – Required

• BLS (AHA or ARC) – Required

• 1–2 years of experience – Required

• Recent MRI experience – Required

• Strong understanding of MRI safety procedures and protocols

• Ability to work independently and efficiently

• Excellent communication and patient-care skills

• Must be available to start ASAP
