Security Officer - Per Diem

Job Title Security Officer Employment Details Employment Type: Part time; Shift: Rotating; Schedule: Per Diem; Shift: Varied Schedule (Weekend Shifts and Night Shifts mandatory with the flexibility to work rotating schedules when needed). Responsibilities The Security Officer is responsible for the security of hospital employees, patients/families, visitors, and property. Is responsible for fire prevention and initial response measures. Maintains safety practices in the area of his/her assignment. Has oversight of the SOC (Security Operations Center). Conducts the Duties and responsibilities associated with the Metal Detector. Minimum Qualifications HS graduate or equivalent required. Previous Security experience preferred. Previous hospital experience preferred. Valid driver's license required, driving record in good standing required. Fingerprints and Child Abuse clearance required before starting.
