Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) | Olympic View Post Acute | $140,000+/year | $15K Sign-On Bonus + Relocation Assistance

Are you a therapist ready to lead? Olympic View Post Acute in Port Angeles, WA is looking for a Director of Rehabilitation to run our therapy department, build a strong team, and deliver rehab outcomes that change lives. PT, OT, and SLP leaders are all welcome.

You'll have real authority to shape the program: hiring, training, launching new treatment programs, and building relationships with local hospitals. You'll do it with competitive pay, a $15,000 sign-on bonus , a monthly metrics bonus , and relocation assistance to help you make the move to the Olympic Peninsula.

What You'll Do

• Lead and supervise all therapy staff, including PTs, OTs, SLPs, assistants, aides, and students

• Build daily schedules that meet resident and facility needs

• Carry a caseload balanced with your leadership responsibilities (set with your supervisor)

• Interview, recommend, and onboard new hires, and run rehab orientation for new staff

• Launch new treatment programs and monitor outcomes to adjust plans of care

• Keep documentation complete, timely, and accurate, with regular department reviews

• Coordinate denials management and appeals per company procedures

• Ensure compliance with Medicare and all regulatory standards

• Approve time cards and manage department productivity

• Build referral relationships with local hospitals and identify new business opportunities

• Train staff on safe work practices and body mechanics to prevent injuries

• Spot and develop future leaders on your team

What You'll Need

• Degree from an accredited Therapy program

• Current, active, unencumbered therapy license (Washington license or eligibility required)

• CPR certification as required for license renewal

• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience as a therapist

• Long-term care or SNF experience preferred

• Working knowledge of Medicare and other payer sources, plus residents' rights

• Strong communication skills with residents, families, staff, and outside agencies

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Physical requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods; bend, squat, push, and pull; lift 100+ lbs with assistance during resident care; and travel as needed. Annual TB screening and physical required.
