Our differentiated battle management and Cyber solutions deliver timely, mission-enabling information and provide superior situational awareness and understanding to protect the U.S. and its global allies.As a Global Supply Chain Program Manager – 3, you’ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position will be located in Salt Lake City, UT or Woodland Hills, CA and is required onsite daily. As a Global Supply Chain Program Manager, you will be responsible and accountable for the strategy, planning, budget, and execution of all material and services content for a portfolio of programs.What You Will Get To Do:Responsibilities:Leads a team of Supply Chain Professionals that are responsible to the Program Management Office (PMO) for the entire Global Supply Chain (GSC) organization and coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that supply chain commitments are metOversees GSC team accountable to meet material budget requirements to support the PMO financial commitmentsAccountable for supply chain program execution including material budget, resource planning, forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, supplier performance, and supply chain issue resolutionOversees and develops the material strategy for GSC in all phases of the Business Acquisition Process including leading the material estimating process and establishing and negotiating the budget with the PMO for responsible program portfolioEnsures that prior to program execution, all elements of the proposed program(s) plans have complete and accurate schedules, budgets, make/buy plans, and procurement and subcontracts strategiesEnsures mitigation plans are developed and executed to address any programmatic risks related to suppliers or supply chain executionOversee briefings to the PMO and executive management on program status and any necessary action plans to address issues affecting program supply chain cost and schedule performanceLeads team to drive initiatives to reduce cost and improve efficiencyWork cohesively with leaders in other disciplines such as engineering, operations, quality, and other personnel to manage material performance and ensure delivery of hardware to support production needs within budgetActs as the escalation path for the PMO to address issues in program execution related to the supply chainQualifications:Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience in program management, project management, supply chain or related field – OR – Master’s degree with 6+ years of professional experiencePeople management experiencePrior program or project management experience successfully executing budgets and schedules of significant scope and complexityExperience working high level strategic initiatives that impact long-term business goals in addition to urgent requirements to support day-to-day operationsExperience working and supporting Earned Value Management requirementsExperience implementing and executing material program plans to meet program objectivesExpertise in supporting complex proposals of significant valueExperience communicating and interfacing with high level leadershipKnowledge and experience in government contracting requirements and regulations (e.g. FAR, DFARS, ITAR, etc.)Ability to travel up to 15% of the timeMust be able to obtain a security level security clearancePreferred Qualifications:Master of Business AdministrationSecret or Top Secret security clearanceCapability to read technical drawings and documentsSkilled in developing and implementing risk mitigation strategiesStrong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate feedback in a manner that fosters collaboration, trust, and builds positive relationshipsAbility to mentor and motivate others to meet complex objectivesCompetence to work in an integrated team environment and influence changeUnderstanding of hardware, material requirements, and critical suppliers for solid rocket motorsHigh Proficiency working with MRP/ERP systemsAbility to communicate complex technical information internal customersExperience and understanding FAR/DFAR provisions including the requirements necessary to maintain a government approved contractor approved purchasing system (CPSR)Ability to communicate complex technical information to internal and external customersWhat We Can Offer You:Northrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment which encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
