Floater Machine Operator

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Train in all four production departments including raw

material processing, drying systems, machine operation, and packaging/bagging lines Operate and monitor dryers, conveyors, grinders, baggers, and other fiber-processing equipment Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot machinery to maintain production efficiency Perform in-process quality checks including product consistency and color/shade verification Accurately complete production documentation and quality records Follow strict GMP, food safety, and sanitation standards Perform detailed sanitation procedures including: Equipment tear-down and reassembly for cleaning Dry and wet cleaning of machinery and production areas Removal of fiber dust and debris buildup Deep cleaning during scheduled sanitation cycles Safely operate forklifts to move raw materials and finished product Maintain a clean and organized work environment Support mandatory seasonal overtime and production demands \*\** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 1+ year recent experience as a Lead Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment Direct hands-on machine operation experience required Forklift experience required Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Ability to identify differences in color, shade, and hue Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, percentages, fractions) Positive work history with reliable attendance Ability to work 2nd shift long-term Interest in career growth toward a supervisor role \*\** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Apply In Person: 720 Daly Avenue Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54494 E-Mail a Rsum: View email address on jobs.institutedata.com Apply Online: Call For Appointment: View phone number on jobs.institutedata.com This position is listed by a private employment agency.
