Pay Rate: $35.00 – $38.46/hour (determined by experience, paid weekly)
Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Work Model: 100% Onsite

Role Overview
BEPC is seeking a Safety Training Coordinator to support workplace safety training and compliance initiatives in Northford, CT. This role is responsible for helping develop and deliver safety training programs, supporting hazard identification, and promoting safe work practices across the facility.
The ideal candidate has a strong safety mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting employee safety, accident prevention, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver workplace safety training programs for employees.
Create and distribute educational materials related to safety procedures and accident prevention.
Inspect facility areas to identify potential safety hazards.
Recommend corrective actions and additional safety precautions when hazards are identified.
Support compliance with established safety regulations, standards, and company procedures.
Communicate safety expectations clearly to employees and teams.
Maintain organized safety training records and related documentation.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to workplace safety.
Follow established guidelines and instructions while performing job duties.
Report safety concerns, training needs, or compliance issues to leadership.
Required Qualifications
1–2 years of experience in safety, training, compliance, or a related area.
Strong workplace safety background or safety-focused experience.
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable delivering safety training and presenting information to employees.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of common safety concepts, practices, and procedures.
Ability to identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Health, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
Experience developing or supporting workplace safety programs.
Experience conducting safety inspections or audits.
Manufacturing, industrial, or production environment experience.

Work Environment
This is a fully onsite position in a facility environment. The role requires strong communication, organization, and safety awareness while working with employees and leadership to promote a safe and compliant workplace.
