Job Description

Join our team as a Food Service Worker where you will play a vital role in preparing and serving food items, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and safe dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion food items according to recipes and established guidelines.
• Serve meals and beverages while providing friendly and professional customer service.
• Operate cash registers and point-of-sale systems accurately.
• Stock food stations, beverage areas, and dining supplies throughout shifts.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work areas, dining spaces, and kitchen equipment.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food products using FIFO methods.
• Support catering events, special functions, and campus activities as needed.
• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and supervisors to ensure efficient service.

Essential Skills

• Experience in food preparation and general food production.
• Proficiency in customer service and operating cash registers.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and adhere to sanitation standards.
• Experience with dishwashing and kitchen equipment maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience as a cook, chef, grill cook, or line cook is beneficial.
• Familiarity with meat cutting, janitorial duties, and housekeeping.
• Experience in hospitality and general labor roles is advantageous.

Work Environment

Work within a new, clean, and climate-controlled dining center. All operations are housed within one building, ensuring a centralized and efficient workspace.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of River Falls, WI.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
