Part-Time Dental ReceptionistSyosset Dental is searching for a part-time dental receptionist to join our dedicated team! We take pride in providing exceptional dental care. The best individual for this role has strong communication skills, is team-oriented, and can multitask effectively.Compensation: $27-30 per hour, based on experienceSchedule:Part-timeApproximately 25 hours per weekMonday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pmTuesday, 12:00 pm - 7:00 pmWednesday, 12:00 pm - 5:30 pmThursday/Friday, OFF (with possibility of adding every other Friday in the future, 9:00 am - 2:30 pm)2-3 Saturdays a month, 8:00 am - 1:00 pmPerks & Benefits:Referral bonus program401(k) optionsFriendly staff and state-of-the-art office in a convenient locationPotential for growthResponsibilities:Experienced dental receptionist, savvy with working with major PPO networks in addition to FFS patients, processing claims, preauthorizations, adjustments, and schedulesResponsibilities include phones, checking patients in and out, scheduling, recalls, billing, electronic insurance filing, and follow-upAnswer phone calls and schedule appointments/manage changes in schedule to ensure smooth workflowVerify insurance coverage and assist with billing and paymentsQualifications:2+ years of prior dental front office experience is requiredProficiency in Dentrix dental softwareExperience with insurance coordinationOrthodontic knowledge is a plus (coding, etc.)Social media is a plus
