Registered Nurse - ER

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of ED experience, with proficiency in managing all acuity levels including MedSurg, Stepdown, and ICU patients. First-time travelers are welcome provided they have at least 2 years of permanent staff RN experience in acute care. Candidates must possess current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI or MOAB certifications. The RN should be comfortable with ventilator management, critical care drips/titration, cardiac rhythm interpretation, hemodynamic lines, conscious sedation, and trauma stabilization. Strong organizational skills and professionalism are required to thrive in our traveler-friendly environment.

• Working every Monday and Tuesday
• Will work 4 days one week and 3 days the next week (mandatory)
• Willingness to work every other weekend and 2/3 major holidays
• RTO requests up to 7 days; more than 7 days decline
• No call shifts

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NIHSS
• CPI or MOAB

• 2+ years ED experience
• Ventilator management, critical care drips, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and trauma experience (TPA administration, spinal precautions, etc.)
• Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to arrival

• All acuity levels including trauma, medical, cardiac, neuro, ortho, and interventional cases
• Management of complex conditions like stroke, heart failure, sepsis, respiratory failure, and COVID-19

• EMR: Meditech Expanse
• IV Pumps: Alaris
• Medication Dispensing: Pyxis
• In-house Phlebotomy and RT services
• 24/7 Hospitalist and ED physician support

• Scrub color: Pewter with gray, white, or black T-shirts featuring WK monogram
• Jackets: Gray or black
• Badge must be worn above the waist and clearly visible
• Free parking in designated areas
• Professionalism and adherence to policies are mandatory

Hourly Pay Rate: $46.90
