As a Co-op Engineer, you will work with an engineering team to learn practical skills in software controls. You will assist engineers in the technical development, evaluation and application of products and processes.Job DescriptionDuties:Assist in testing and verification of both PC based and embedded softwareDevelop PC based software for both in house development group use and also for external useTests and measurements on a variety of electronic controls and motorsAssembly of prototypes and samples.Support engineer on purchasing electronic components, test equipment and mechanical parts.Support electronic lab activities including test equipment calibration and maintain lab cleanliness.Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed or requested.Requirements:Educational Requirements: currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program for software engineering, computer science, or similar degrees.Working Requirements: 25-29 hours while attending schoolEqual Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action at Nidec Nidec is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action Employer encouraging diversity in the workplace.
