Job Overview Mobile Associates Store-in-Store are an integral part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T‑Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations where active customer engagement is crucial for success. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around products and services, thrive in a high‑traffic environment, and build and deepen relationships with customers through meaningful interactions. Mobile Associates excel at identifying customer needs and recommending solutions, exceeding performance targets while providing exceptional customer experiences and meeting quality sales metrics. Job Responsibilities Proactively engage with a broad range of customers in a highly‑traffic retail environment, using digital tools to communicate effectively, educate customers, and showcase the value of T‑Mobile solutions. Leverage digital self‑serve tools during customer interactions and the onboarding process; identify customer needs and apply solution‑based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of T‑Mobile products and services. Recommend wireless solutions and explain how to use the T‑Mobile app to meet customers’ self‑serve needs, deepening relationships and ensuring satisfaction. Complete training on the T‑Mobile in‑store experience, new skills, products, processes, and systems. Review personal results, current promotions, and updates on the Hub to remain Customer Ready. Partner with nearby store locations for full onboarding, performing skills practice, knowledge sharing, and store operations including opening and closing. Secure kiosk assets and report any lost keys or assets. Exhibit a customer‑obsessed mindset: passionate, friendly, and engaging; build rapport, trust, and loyalty; exceed expectations; proactively reach out to potential customers; follow up, capture referrals, manage return processes, and build new and existing customer relationships. Perform price overrides for specialty offers when required. Build relationships with nearby leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account set‑up to device support and account servicing. Education and Work Experience High School Diploma or GED (Required) At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience in a retail environment (Preferred) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Customer satisfaction: Passionate customer advocate who balances customer experience with performance goals (Required) Team building: Willingness to work alongside peers and store leaders, sharing best practices and resolving issues (Required) Retail sales: Competitive drive and confidence to succeed in a fast‑paced sales environment (Required) Licenses and Certifications At least 18 years of age Legally authorized to work in the United States Travel Travel Required: No. DOT Regulated Position: No. Safety Sensitive Position: No. Compensation Hourly Base Pay: $17.50 plus $5.00 per hour training pay. Within the first 90 days, Mobile Associates receive on‑the‑job training and are eligible for hourly training pay. After completion, associates promote to the Mobile Expert role and become eligible for an annualized incentive target of $18,000/year. Actual incentives vary based on performance, and full‑time employees are guaranteed to earn $20/hour inclusive of base pay and incentives. All employees are eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.
