About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its philanthropic and community engagement efforts. The successful candidate will be a charismatic and visionary leader with a proven track record in fundraising and executive management. The CEO will be responsible for articulating and implementing a strategic vision that enhances the organization's ability to convene the community, increase its visibility, and expand its mission. This role involves setting a positive and collaborative environment, serving as the face of the organization, and fostering a culture of philanthropy. The CEO will also lead a professional team, supervise staff, and work closely with the Board to ensure the organization's goals are met and its financial resources are managed effectively. Applicants for the CEO position at the company should have executive experience in a comparable organization, a deep understanding of fiscal oversight, and the ability to build and lead a comprehensive professional team. The role requires a leader with a personal commitment to Jewish life, values, and identity, as well as the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor's degree, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to work with a Board as an advisor and partner. Responsibilities also include developing and implementing a vision for strategic philanthropy, personally soliciting and stewarding donors, and ensuring the organization's financial health and growth.
