Certified Nursing Assistant - Part Time

Certified Nursing AssistantUnder supervision, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) provides personal care and delegated nursing services designed to maintain the clients' physical and emotional well-being. Our Certified Nursing Assistant will carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and procedures, applicable to federal, state, local standards, guidelines, and regulations as directed by the House Supervisor.Certified Nursing Assistant Responsibilities and Essential DutiesAssist the persons served with personal cares as identified in the individuals care plan.Support the persons served in every day grooming.Medication reminders, assistance or administration as delegated by RN.Prepare meals as directed, following special meal plans if instructed.Take and record temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration if instructed. Report changes or concerns to RN.Encourage communication between manager and persons served as needed.Help each person served to reach and maintain his/her highest level of performance and independence.Establish rapport with persons served.Provide individualized care to each person served as delegated by RN and Healthcare Professional.Observe and report any changes in persons served to the RN, House Supervisor, and Program Director.Must be able to complete physical requirements of role: standing, siting, crouching, squatting, reaching and lifting heavy items.RequirementsCertified Nursing Assistant RequiredExperience with different personalities and backgroundsCPR and First Aid Certified.
