Pipefitter - Per Diem OfferedNashville, Tennessee - Posted on July 28, 2026 Published By Daniel BarnesTrillium Construction is now seeking experienced Pipe Fitters for an ongoing project at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN, starting July 27th.This project is expected to last approximately 2 months, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with overtime anticipated after the first few weeks as the project progresses. Pay is $38/hour plus $125 for per diem per days worked for those who qualify.Responsibilities:Measuring, laying out, cutting, beveling, fitting, aligning, and assembling carbon steel pipingOperating common pipefitting tools and equipmentEnsuring all pipe is properly prepared for weldingWorking independently while maintaining strict quality and safety standards in an active hospital environmentCandidates should be comfortable working closely with Pipe Welders to ensure proper fit-up, alignment, and installation while keeping the project on schedule.Qualifications:5+ years' commercial or industrial pipefitting experienceProficient reading and interpreting blueprints, isometric drawings, and spool sheetsPrevious hospital or healthcare construction experience strongly preferredStrong understanding of mechanical piping systemsExperience installing mechanical piping systems such as hydronic, chilled water, heating hot water, steam, condensate, or process piping is a plus, though the specific systems will be discussed on siteMust have own trade toolsMust wear standard PPEAbility to pass pre-employment screeningsTrillium Construction Services has been recruiting and hiring construction and skilled trades talent for over 30 years.
