Job Summary:
The CT Tech will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT scans, MRI, X-rays, and fluoroscopy, to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. They will operate advanced GE imaging equipment in a busy, hospital setting, ensuring accurate and high-quality images for clinical assessment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and positioning them appropriately.
• Operate GE multi-modality imaging equipment, including CT, MRI, X-ray, and fluoroscopy scanners.
• Ensure image quality and proper documentation within the EMR system, Meditech.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain compliance with infection control standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to facilitate accurate diagnostics.
• Maintain equipment functionality and report technical issues promptly.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT (CT) certification, BLS certification, and a Florida State DOH license.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of recent experience in CT imaging.
• Have proficiency with GE imaging systems and Meditech EMR.
• Possess excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Display mechanical aptitude and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Be able to work day shifts, including 4-6 call shifts per month.
