Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Conducting detailed intake assessments to understand clients' backgrounds, presenting issues, and treatment goals. Formulating and implementing evidence-based treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of your clients. Delivering therapeutic interventions through individual counseling, family therapy, and group therapy settings, employing techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based practices. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team comprising psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists to ensure integrated care for your clients. Meticulously documenting session notes, progress reports, and treatment modifications in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. Engaging in ongoing clinical supervision, training programs, and professional development initiatives to refine your skills and enhance service delivery. Staying abreast of contemporary practices, research advancements, and emerging trends within the mental health landscape. Upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality according to legal and organizational guidelines. Patient Population / Client Focus Your focus will primarily be on a diverse clientele, including adults, adolescents, and families dealing with a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications To be eligible for this role, candidates must possess: A valid and active LPCC license recognized in California. A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field. Demonstrated ability to practice independently without supervision. Compensation and Benefits The role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, reflective of your experience and caseload.
