Tech - X-ray/Rad Tech

Job Summary:
The X-ray/Rad Tech is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment. This role requires technical expertise in radiologic procedures and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Operate imaging equipment to capture clear diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
• Maintain and calibrate radiologic equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow safety procedures to protect patients and staff from radiation exposure.
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to interpret imaging results as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).
• Possess state licensure or licensing requirements for radiologic technologists.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating X-ray and radiologic equipment.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and patient care skills.
• Maintain current knowledge of radiation safety standards.
• Have at least 1-2 years of clinical radiologic imaging experience.
