Work Environment

This role will take place onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in West Hartford, Connecticut. The facility is designed to provide a positive healing environment, equipped with the latest therapeutic equipment and technology essential for delivering comprehensive rehabilitation services. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals that includes occupational therapists, speech therapists, and medical doctors to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including detailed histories, physical assessments, and functional tests, to inform personalized treatment plans.
• Educate patients and their families about assessment results and collaboratively set achievable rehabilitation goals, incorporating their feedback into the therapy process.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to each patient's specific needs, utilizing a variety of therapeutic exercises and modalities.
• Monitor and document patients' progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on feedback and evolving health conditions.
• Engage in regular interdisciplinary consultations to discuss patient outcomes and ensure a cohesive approach to their rehabilitation.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in physical therapy practice and contribute to the organizational commitment to continuous improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve come from a diverse range of backgrounds and may deal with conditions such as post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain syndromes, and neurological disorders. Your role as a physical therapist will be pivotal in helping these individuals regain mobility, independence, and confidence while providing tailored care and support throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required.
• Current state licensure to practice physical therapy in Connecticut.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
