Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to cardiovascular ICU patients including post-PCI, post-bypass, and CHF populations
• Titrate drips and manage hemodynamically complex patients in a critical care environment
• Interpret cardiac monitor strips independently; telemetry monitoring tech available on unit
• Collaborate with 24/7 in-house intensivist and hospitalist team (physician and NP coverage)
• Work alongside respiratory therapy staff assigned 24/7 to the ICU, utilizing full respiratory equipment including ventilators, CPAP, and BiPAP

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois (IL) RN licensure required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum Level 2 trauma experience or above
• Experience titrating drips in a critical care setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Open heart / cardiac surgery experience strongly preferred
• Experience pulling sheaths preferred
• CRRT experience highly preferred
