Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12 hours (18:30 - 07:00)

Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) in the LDRP unit will provide comprehensive care in Labor, Triage, and Postpartum settings, rotating staff through all roles. This position involves caring for 3-4 couplets in Postpartum and 1-2 patients in Labor.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care during labor, delivery, and postpartum.
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and perform necessary assessments and interventions.
• Support breastfeeding and provide education to parents regarding infant care.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapy as needed.
• Conduct postpartum assessments and manage couplet care effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of nursing experience in LDRP, Labor, Triage, or Postpartum care.
• Current RN license and certifications in NRP, AWHONN, FHM.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is strongly preferred.
• OB surgical recovery (C-section) experience is highly preferred.
