About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Chemical Engineering and Process Innovation to lead the advancement of its chemical engineering capabilities in support of the next generation of pharmaceutical development and manufacturing. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving process engineering, expanding continuous manufacturing, and accelerating the adoption of more automated, data-driven operations. This role involves shaping technology priorities, developing talent, and guiding investments that connect scientific innovation with manufacturing execution. The VP will also be tasked with influencing the company's technology direction and delivering measurable progress in engineering capability and manufacturing performance. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in chemical engineering, biochemical engineering, or a related discipline, with a substantial background in pharmaceutical development, engineering, or manufacturing, typically 15 years or more. The role requires a proven track record in advancing engineering capabilities, developing talent, and translating technical progress into operational results. Strong chemical engineering fundamentals, experience in process automation, advanced controls, or continuous manufacturing, and a collaborative leadership style are essential. The VP will also be expected to engage with clients on technical strategy, evaluate emerging technologies, and represent the company in senior technical discussions. Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is a plus, and the role may involve domestic and international travel.
