We’ve been helping Northwest Ohio "escape from grouchy" since 1950. Ralph’s is a second-generation, family-owned appliance and bedding retailer with stores in Tiffin, Findlay, and Fremont. We carry top brands — GE, Bosch, Whirlpool, LG, Frigidaire, Speed Queen, and more — and our warehouse team is what keeps it all moving. We’re hiring a Warehouse & Inventory Specialist for our Tiffin flagship.

What You’ll Do

Manage Freight: Unload inbound vendor trucks and load outbound customer-delivery routes.

Track Inventory: Ensure every appliance is logged accurately in our system, from the moment it arrives to the moment it leaves on the truck.

Maintain the Facility: Keep the warehouse highly organized, clean, and operating efficiently.

Team Collaboration: Work alongside the delivery team and back up the Warehouse/Delivery Manager during receiving inspections.

Willingness to learn: Adapts to vendor procedures, POS updates, and inventory standards.

Composed under pressure: Even-tempered and easy to work with when trucks back up and timelines tighten.

Self-motivated: Sees what needs to be done and executes without being asked.

Honest and dependable: Committed to doing things the right way the first time.

Qualifications & Skills

At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.

Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.

Physical Capability: Must be physically able to move appliances without a forklift (using dollies, straps, lift gates, and team carries).

Lifting Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted and team-lift loads of 100+ lbs throughout a full work day.

Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and carry for an entire shift in a warehouse environment.

Technical Literacy: Basic computer and POS skills; comfortable entering receipts, serial numbers, and tracking data with discipline.

Warehouse, receiving, or appliance-handling experience preferred — but we will train the right candidate.
