Details Work in a 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital Rehab Nursing IRF unit treating patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury Patient ratio of 1:7 Uses IV pumps, EKG machines, bariatric beds, and medication dispensing systems EHR systems include Cerner and Epic Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM Required to work every other weekend No floating required Requirements Active RN license (TX or compact) currently in hand Current BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Acute rehab experience required Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required Additional Information Provide rehabilitation nursing care for patients recovering from stroke, amputation, and major surgeries Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and leadership skills valued in this role Royal blue scrub color required Report time is 6:45 PM on first day Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment American Traveler Job ID P-768003.
